The night
Paint first. Then the night’s yours.
6pm. Find the blue door.
Unit 5, Aire Street Workshops, 3 minutes’ walk from Leeds station. Ours is the blue door just right of the archway. Come straight in.
Settle in, then warm up.
Every session opens with a short exercise, to get past the blank canvas.
Two hours at the easel.
A still life under studio lights, or bring your own subject. Help is on hand whenever you want it.
8pm. Take it home.
Walk out with your canvas, or leave it with us to dry and collect next week.

Do I need to have painted before?
No. Painting Club is for all levels. Every night starts with a warm-up, and help is on hand.
Can I come on my own?
Yes. It’s a table of six, and everyone’s painting the same still life, so it’s an easy place to chat.
What’s included?
Your own place at the table, a canvas, acrylics, brushes and knives, and a cup of tea. You take your canvas home.
Can I take my painting home wet?
Yes, or leave it with us to dry and collect it next week.
What should I wear?
Something you don’t mind getting paint on. We have aprons.
Can I book the studio for a party?
Yes. We run private art parties in Leeds for birthdays, hen dos and showers, from £12 a head.
