Welcome to “Rooted in Yorkshire”, the first UK exhibition curated by Ghazal Felan, showcasing a diverse collection of artwork inspired by the landscapes, history, and spirit of Yorkshire. The works on display reflect the powerful connection between the artists and this remarkable region—whether through the lens of those who have grown up here or the fresh perspectives of those who have chosen to make Yorkshire their home.
Each piece in this exhibition is rooted in Yorkshire, but the way the artists interpret this region varies widely. For some, Yorkshire is a deep well of memories, their work a reflection of growing up amidst its rugged hills, bustling cities, and tranquil countryside. For others, it is a place of discovery—where new lives are being woven into the fabric of its rich history and culture.
